DuPont ASANA Insecticide Print Ad 2
This spread trade magazine ad dramatically emphasized the two scientific differences between ASANA and all the other third-generation synthetic pyrethroid insecticides on the market at the time— ASANA had a uniques chemical scructure that made it impervious to breakdown by sunlight’s ultraviolet rays, and its formulation insuspension with cottonseed oil made it stick to cotton plant leaves and bolls (the fruit), even through intense thunderstorms that are common in the Mississippi River valley cotton-growing region. Two strong reasons to believe why it gives farmers two more days between sprays.
